Orwak congratulates our team member Victor Lindgren on a fantastic achievement and the silver medal in 10 m air rifle at this weekend’s World Championship in Cairo! Victor scored impressive 634.6 points, the highest he ever scored in an international championship.
Victor is very pleased: “I would probably rank it the best contest of my career. I’m very happy. I actually didn’t see this coming when I arrived in Cairo. It was a lot of pressure, so this was a win for me. This season has been very good. I had my first ISSF World Cup medal in air rifle in Lima and China, and with the World Championship silver, it’s been amazing.“
After the silver in Cairo, Victor is qualified for this year’s World Cup finals on December 4-9 in Doha. It means he is among the world’s 12 best shooters and reaches the season finals for the third year in a row. Good luck with the next challenge, Victor!
