Bluesun Hotels & Resorts, one of Croatia’s leading hospitality groups, has successfully implemented sustainable waste compaction and recycling solutions in collaboration with Interzero, Orwak’s representative in Croatia. The investment in Orwak multi-chamber balers for sorting at source and two FLEX 1100 compactors for bagged waste is a significant step in Bluesun’s green transition.
Interzero is a company that provides comprehensive environmental services, specializing in waste management, closed-loop solutions, and recycling, with a vision of a world without waste. As part of the cooperation with Interzero, Bluesun equipped its hotels, Alga in Tučepi, Marina, Maestral, Soline, and Berulia in Brela, with the heavy duty multi-chamber balers 5070-HDC from Orwak. Additionally, its Punta Rata restaurant in Brela now uses the smaller 3-ton press force Multi 5070 to efficiently manage packaging waste on-site.
Beyond balers, Bluesun also invested in two Orwak Flex 1100 in bin compactors for bagged mixed waste, significantly reducing its volume and thus minimizing the frequency of waste collections and operational costs.
