The holidays are approaching and the elves are busy gift wrapping Christmas presents in Santa’s magic workshop. Packing and repacking gifts generate a lot of paper and cardboard waste.
There is a fine scent of wood, cinnamon and orange in the air, Christmas lights and ornaments sparkle and twinkle and the elves are in a good mood, smiling when they think about the joy their gifts will bring to their recipients.
Storage space in the workshop is limited and reserved for sacks with Christmas presents, but luckily Santa has a baler with a small footprint yet great compaction capacity to keep the boxes at bay.
With the same speed as they wrap gift strings around packages, the elves’ nimble fingers quickly tie the bale straps and they always decorate the bales, shipped from the workshop, with their own holiday hallmark:
Merry Orange Christmas from Santa and his elves!
